I was First Hand for 12 Days of Christmas, Rag Dolls, and Santa’s Work Shop ensemble. I was able to pattern and create all new socks for Santa’s Workshop ensemble and a complete costume for one of the little people. I enjoy working with challenging body shapes so patterning and fitting her were extremely rewarding. Since I had experience working with walk around character costumes, I was asked to assist in fitting The Nutcracker bears with Associate Costume Designer, Erin Elizabeth Murphy. Each routine needs over 80 costumes so the whole shop worked together to complete the show including; New York at Christmas, Here Comes Santa Claus, Parade of the Wooden Soldiers, Let Christmas Shine, and The Living Nativity.
